Summer Leadership Institute

June 21-23, 2013

Don’t wait until school starts to become a part of the Bison Family!  Jump right into NDSU by being a part of the Summer Leadership Institute!

North Dakota State University invites you, as an incoming student, to participate in a three-day Summer Leadership Institute (SLI).  SLI offers you an opportunity to enhance your leadership potential, create new friendships and hit the ground running when school begins.

The Summer Leadership Institute is here for all incoming students get acclimated to NDSU and to get involved early in their college career. Often, new students feel the need to wait or acclimate to their new surroundings before getting involved. SLI will help each participant to develop more effective leadership skills. With so many opportunities to get involved, lead, and create change, NDSU wants all incoming students to start shaping their future as soon as they set foot on campus.

By being a part of the SLI, you can expect:

1.  Success

Realize your strengths as a college student through participation in interactive workshops.

2.  Leadership

Expand your leadership aptitude through experiential team building activities.

3.  Involvement

Connect to the University through the development of new relationships and the knowledge of campus.

WHY SLI?

NDSU student leaders will act as group facilitators ensuring you get to know other participants and maximize what you learn in the workshops. They will help you build strong bonds and will help the group learn to be an effective team. Student leaders also will answer questions you may have about college life.

Reserve your spot now as space is limited.  Applicants will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.  Payment is due when you register; we accept checks or credit cards. Due to the purchasing of food and materials for SLI, we are unable to process any refunds after June 14, 2013.

Here are just a few quotes from students who attended SLI during a past summer!
