America Reads

America Reads is a 100% federally funded Work Study program that is coordinated through the Volunteer Network. This program allows Work Study students to tutor elementary aged children in local elementary schools in order to obtain their Work Study Grant. They are paid an hourly rate set by the America Reads Coordinator. The wage rate is set at $10.00/hour.

When starting a new work study student it is important to be mindful of the full amount of their work study grant.
