The Bison Service Challenge
The NDSU Bison Service Challenge is a program used on the NDSU campus where students can record the types of service and the amount of service they are doing throughout the year. Established in 2009, the Bison Service Challenge focused mainly on student involvement and recorded over 30,000 hours of service completed by student groups. Now Bison Service Challenge has grown to not only support student group involvement, but also Service-Learning in the classroom, and service done by individual students, faculty, and staff. The Bison Service Challenge will continue to grow and promote service within the NDSU community for many years to come.
During the 2011-2012 school year, NDSU recorded 97,517 hours of service which equates to a $1,660,714 impact on our community.
