The Bison Service Challenge
The Bison Service Challenge promotes civic engagement through service. The Bison Service challenge was established in the Fall of 2009 at North Dakota State University. During the first year the Bison Service Challenge recorded over 30,000 hours of service completed by student groups. The Bison Service Challenge encourages four different categories to compete for top service hours during the year. If you are involved in one of the student groups listed below please submit your volunteer hours today. At the end of Spring semester, the top Greek Chapter, Athletic Team, Residence Hall, and Student Organization will be recognized and given a $700 grant from Dakota Medical Foundation- $300 for second place groups- to donate to a charity of their choice at the Bison Service Challenge Award Ceremony.
During the 2011-2012 school year, NDSU recorded 97,517 hours of service which equates to a $1,660,714 impact on our community.
