Tapestry Overview

The Tapestry of Diverse Talents, a program of the Memorial Union, is a pictorial mosaic that recognizes students, faculty, staff and alumni for the diversity and contributions they bring to North Dakota State University. Each year individuals are inducted into the Tapestry. Inductees are engaged in work, activities, and projects that reflect the diverse populations of the university community.

The Tapestry of Diverse Talents Induction Ceremony will be held Thursday, February 19th at 12:00pm in the MU Century Theater.

Nomination Procedure

Nominations are now being accepted through January 16, 2015

To nominate someone, you may either fill out a web form, download a hardcopy and hand it in at the SAO Office, or email electronic copies.

Each year, nominations are solicited for individuals deserving of Induction into the Tapestry Program. To nominate someone, complete the nomination form and two letters of recommendation (at least one detailed letter of recommendation must be from a student or group of students). More than two letters of support from students, peers and colleagues are welcome. Please pay close attention to the nomination criteria and requirements. The Selection Committee will review all submissions and determine those to be honored each semester. For specific information regarding selection procedures and timelines, please contact the Student Activities Office (on the main level in the MU, near the coffee shop), 231-7787.

Please submit your nomination by dropping them off at the Student Activities Office or through interoffice mail to: Nate Bailly, Student Activities Office, Memorial Union. Nominations can also be emailed to Nathaniel.Bailly@ndsu.edu
