Black History Month

Black History Month is the month of February.

Community Gospel Concert, Sunday, February 21 at 5 p.m. in Beckwith Recital Hall at NDSU. Sponsored by the Office of Equity Diversity and Global Outreach.

Sisterhood Circle, January 25, 2010, will feature the topic "Rebirth, Old Birth and Resolutions." Sisterhood Circle starts at 1:00 p.m. in the Rose Room at the Memorial Union.

Pan Africa Night is scheduled for February 27, 2010 in the Festival Concert Hall at 7:30 p.m. See WHAT'S HAPPENING AT OMP for more updated information.

AISES Regional Conference

Bias Bigotry & Hate Reporting

The NDSU campus has a vision of diversity and has implemented the NDSU Bias Reporting System. To access the form to report incidences of bias, bigotry or hate, click HERE.

Our department provides support for students and offers programs that encourage intercultural exchange on campus and in the community at large.

Each academic year the Office of Multicultural Programs sponsors cultural and social events in celebration of Cultural Awareness Month. Native American Heritage Month, Black History Month, and more! Our events are free and open to all.

Haitian Relief Effort

The African Student Union, Black Student Association and International Students Association at NDSU thanks the NDSU Community and Fargo-Moorhead Community for assisting in raising funds for the Haiti Relief Effort. Dakota Studies

The Office of Multicultural Programs supports the NEW Dakota Studies Program at NDSU. See link to the left for the NEW Dakota Studies Program for course information for Fall 2009. Cultural Diversity Tuition Waiver

The 2010-2011 Cultural Diversity Tuition Waiver application is now available through the Admissions Office at NDSU! Students may begin applying for this valuable waiver now for next year. Please click HERE to download the application, complete it, and turn it in to the Admissions Office at NDSU. Instructions are included with the application download. The OMP does not administer the Cultural Diversity Tuition Waiver but promotes students apply early for the waiver as the deadline is in April and the waiver, upon qualification, award is a first come, first serve basis and decided by the Admissions Office.
