Cultural Events Offered by OMP

Cultural Events are offered through the Office of Multicultural Programs for the entire NDSU Community and the surrounding communities. Most events are free and open to the public. Please refer to the event pages and the What's Happening at OMP page for specific event information.

Signature Annual Programming is offered to celebrate the following months at NDSU through the Office of Multicultural Programs:

Hispanic Heritage Month: September 15-October 15

Cultural Awareness Month: October

American Indian Heritage Month: November

Black History Month: February

Asian/Pacific Islander American Heritage Month: May

Signature Monthly Programs

Signature Monthly Programs and Events are also offered throughout the academic year by the Office of Multicultural Programs at NDSU. Some of the programs offered on a monthly basis are listed below:

  • Sisterhood Circles
  • Leadership Sessions in the OMP Lounge
  • Various panel discussions and other planned events throughout the school year

Leadership Sessions

Multicultural students are invited to attend the Leadership Sessions in the department lounge in Memorial Union Room 178.

Each session will feature a guest presenter. Sessions are approximately one-half hour long and will focus on student retention and leadership techniques.
