Annual Woodland and High Plains Traditional Pow-Wow

NDSU, along with Minnesota State University-Moorhead and Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, share an annual pow-wow called the Annual Woodland and High Plains Traditional Pow-Wow. A pow-wow is a traditional and/or competitive dance gathering that honors the traditions of the American Indian culture.

Each year, the three campuses converge to plan this major community event that often attracts dancers from the region, including Canada and surrounding states like Minnesota, South Dakota and Montana.

Watch for updates and information on the upcoming pow-wow as the year develops here.
