Multicultural Student Services Staff Jaclynn Davis Wallette Originally from Belcourt, North Dakota, Jaclynn Davis Wallette is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa. The people living on or near the Turtle Mountain reservation are Chippewa/Ojibwe people. Before moving to the area, Jaclynn worked at the Turtle Mountain Community College. Since joining the NDSU community, Jaclynn has worked in the Office of Registration and Records and the Native American Pharmacy Program office. Recently, she was named Director of Multicultural Student Services where she provides recruitment and support services for students of color. In addition to the work she does at NDSU to promote multiculturalism, Jaclynn has also been active in the community. Her activities in the Fargo-Moorhead area include the Fargo Theater Film Festival Committee, Daughters of the Earth, Native American Programs Advisory Council, Northern Plains Voices, Cultural Diversity Resources Board of Directors, and Free Leonard Peltier Support Group. Currently, she serves on the HRSA National Expert Panel on Minority Faculty Development in Washington, DC. Jaclynn and her husband Darrell have three children Natalie, Riel, and Ellyn. They enjoy camping, dining out and their horse Flash. Malika Carter Malika Carter is a graduate of Cuyahoga Community College, Cleveland State University, and The University of Vermont. With a Masters of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration, her scholarly and professional interests include special populations on college and university campuses. Lori Neer Lori Neer was born and raised in North Dakota. She lives in Mapleton with husband, Alan, daughter Melody and sons, Alan and Zach. Her daughter Melody currently attends NDSU as an undergraduate. The Neer family keeps busy attending sporting events, especially those in which Alan and Zach participate. Rosemary Robb Rosemary Robb is originally from Belcourt, North Dakota. She attended school at Northwest Technical College and graduated in 1995 with an associate in Applied Science in Occupational Therapy. She also graduated from NDSU in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology. Rosemary has 5 children and 6 grandchildren. She enjoys art and music. |
