What you need to know about the Cultural Diversity Tuition Waiver at NDSU:

• The Cultural Diversity Tuition Waiver (CDTW) was established by the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education in 1992.
  
• The CDTW is administered by NDSU Office of Admissions.
• The CDTW is a form of financial aid that is part of your financial aid package and will be listed in your award letter.
• CDTW's never exceed the amount of North Dakota resident tuition.
• The difference in out of state tuition, books and fees is not covered by the CDTW.
• Students must meet the academic standards for federal financial aid eligibility to continue receiving the waiver.
• Students who receive the waiver are assigned an advisor from Multicultural Student Services who they meet with once per semester for a progress meeting.
  

How CDTW Progress Meetings Can Help You:

• Recipients of the CDTW meet with an advisor from the Multicultural Student Services Office each semester
• The meetings help students to track their academic progress.
• Students are assisted in the formulation of academic goals.
• Students are kept up to date on support services and cultural events.
• Advisors can make referrals for resources in the community.
