Juneberry - Amelanchier alnifolia
Called Saskatoon in Canada, this shrub grows to a height of eight feet. Juneberry, popular for its good tasting fruit, is a very hardy native of the Great Plains and Canada.
The seed is collected from a source in North Central North Dakota. Juneberry should be planted six feet apart in a windbreak. Juneberry is available as container grown stock only and sold in lots of fifty (50).
