10/29/08 through 11/01/08 Dr. Akyüz attends the International Meeting on Soil Fertility Land Management and Agroclimatology in Kusadasi, Turkey where he presents two papers. The papers are entitled Automated Irrigation Scheduling Application of the North Dakota Agricultural Weather Network (A Akyüz, T Scherer, D Morlock, 2008) and Agricultural Applications of North Dakota Agricultural Weather Network (A Akyüz, B Mullins, D Morlock, 2008). Both papers will be published in the conference preceedings.

10/27/08 Dr. Akyüz will be giving a seminar entitled "Global Climate Change: Facts and Myths" on October 27, 2008 at 4PM. The seminar will be held on the conference hall (TAV) of Aeronautics and Astronautics Faculty Building in Istanbul Technical University, Ayazaga Campus, Istanbul, Turkey.
