Overall Summary

See Kramer, H.H., and Burnham. 1947. Genetics 32:379-390.

  1. For testcross data, use direct calculation of percent recombination in the total population. Immer and Henderson (1943) provide the standard error of p.

  2. For F2 coupling or repulsion data alone, use the product method. See Immer and Henderson (1943) for s.e.(p).

  3. For F3 data from doubly dominant F2 phenotypes, the maximum likelihood method must be used as described by Immer and Henderson (1943).

  4. For combined data from F2 repulsion and coupling data with F3 progeny test, use Fisher's scoring method.
