Accreditation Overview
right arrow bullet NDSU's request for continuing accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (NCA) involves the development of a self-study document that addresses the Criteria for Accreditation, the concerns from the previous team of Consultant-Evaluators that visited NDSU, analyses of the current situation for each Criterion, and several additional elements.
right arrow bullet To complete the multiple facets associated with the request for continuing accreditation and to prepare the self-study document, the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs has invited several members of the campus community and a representative of the public to conduct the self-analysis and report the results and recommendations in a Self-Study document.  This process is expected to take nearly three years.
