NDSU BioOpportunities Workshop: May 17, 2007The NDSU-based forums of early 2007 culminated with a one-day workshop in which NDSU researchers and educators visited with community, state, national and industry leaders about North Dakota's opportunity to participate in the emerging bio-economy. The day-long workshop included several breakout discussion sessions involving NDSU faculty and researchers and invited guests. The sessions were divided into four categories and summaries of these sessions are attached. Cellulose-based Energy and Products Oilseed-based Energy and Products Starch-based Energy and Products Guest Speaker, Dr Allen Rider, Retired CEO, New Holland North America and Member, 25 by 25 Board, spoke on '25 x '25 America's Energy Future'.
