The February 4, 2003 SHRA meeting was called to order by president Jodi Miller.  Guest Speaker Lynn Pletta spoke to the club about benefits at NDSU for faculty and staff.  She informed the club about Federal vs. State laws with medical leave, the NDSU benefit eligibility and house bill no. 1474.

Announcements made at the meeting consisted of the Human Resource conference on April 25th.  MSUMankato is hosting the event in Minneapolis at the Humphrey Ballroom at the Radisson Hotel.  Each club needs to bring three licensed items for the speakers.  The cost will be $10 per person before Feb. 14th, after that it is $15 per person.  The deadline is Feb. 28th.

The club needs to think of a community service project.  Ideas included donating blood.

The PHR study group has started.

The next meeting will be held on March 4th at MSUM.  Elections are in April for new officers, so think of nominations at the next meeting.
