Wow!!!  It was great to see so many people at the
meeting last night and also to get emails about people
interested in SHRA and the certification test.  Last
night we talked alot about the certification.  I
believe that we will have another email explaining the
certification and the deadlines for registration.  If

Last night, Kristi Shelinder an Employment Specialist
at Community First Bankshares came in to talk to us
about the certification test and policies/procedures
that they have had to update since the events of
September 11.  Some of the policies that have been
affected are their military leave policy, sexual
harassment (because of different races in the
workplace) security and safety, employee assistance
program(which counsel employees)and
problem/resolution.  There are also other policies
like EEO, voicemail, and computers that they have had
to update.

After Kristi spoke, Kristin talked about the
certification and some other little housekeeping
things.
