We had hoped to see more of you at March's meeting.  Did people have a
problem finding it??  We only have ONE more meeting left this year, and
it's going to be a fun one, a social activity, and we're looking at having
it at a neutral site, but, we'll keep you posted.

Our speaker on Tuesday was Rebecca Noack from the Village Business Institute,
a division of The Village Family Service Center.  Rebecca talked about
diversity and many of us were amazed at the little quiz we took that showed
what Corporate America is really made up of (The ration of Americans that
are African-American, Hispanic, or Asian is 1 in 4!!  Wow!!)  We talked
about what "Diversity" really means, which we concluded meant "letting
everyone reach their full potential".  We also thought diversity meant
recognizing that we are ALL different and celebrating those differences.
Rebecca had a lot of good insights to share, but noted that you could only
GET STARTED on talking about Diversity in an hour.

At next month's meeting we will be having elections for next year.  Many
positions will be up, including President, Vice-President, Secretary, and
Publicity members.  We encourage you all to nominate someone or yourself!!

A reminder to those of you attending the Phon-a-thon.  It will be held at
6:30-9:00 on Tues, March 20th in the basement of the Scandia Hotel.  If

And, one more thing, if any of you are interested in attending the
Annual HR Conference in June (24th-27th) contact me!!  We found out that
the Parent Chapter WILL be able to donate some money, we just have to get
the details about how much.
