Hello...
I wanted to say Thanks to all the new faces and old
that came to the meeting last night.  We had a great
turnout.

There are a few announcements:
1.  The SIFE Organization is having a panel of
employers to come in and discuss how to "Evaluate a
Job Offer".  It is going to be on March. 19 (Tuesday)
at 6 pm.  in the Century Theater (Memorial Union).  It
is open to all colleges.

2.  There is a fashion show this Thursday.  We believe
it is at 7:00pm in the Ballroom in the Union.  It has
to do with proper business attire.  They will have two
speakers one from Marshall Field's and one from Straus
talking about what you should wear to interviews, and
to work.  There will be dessert.

3. Also, their is a scholarship opportunity open.

Last night, we had Ann Cichy from Park Co. come in and
talk about Relocation and Diversity.  Ann works with
HR Departments in various companies to bring people to
the Fargo-Moorhead area and make their transfer as
easy as possible.  She talked about the Employee
Relocation Counsel and their website. (erc.org)  She
said their is alot of great information on this
website so check it out.
She gave a little history of the relocation process
since it is a relatively new phenomenon.  Ann
mentioned that currently it costs about $48,700 to
relocate an employee.  She mentioned that the two main
reasons that employees dont transfer are because the
spouse can not find a job and that they dont accept
the compensation offered.
Finally Ann gave us some facts or differences between
different cultures and countries.
