Hi...

Just wanted to inform all of you about what happened at our informational meetings last night.  We had some new faces which was really good to see. Hopefully we will have more as the year progresses.

The things that we talked about last night were:
1.  What topics should we talk about at meetings.
2.  Membership dues which are $12.00 for Local and $17.50 for National. Also, we decided this year to have membership dues due at two certain times, once        at our December meeting and then again at our April meeting.  This way we have no confusion and no one has problems getting their publications.
3.  We talked about the State HR Conference that is coming up at the end of this month. If anyone is interested in attending the conference, volunteering at the conference or both please let us know and we will get the information out to you. I believe there are some openings for volunteering and if you want to attend a conference there is a reduced rate ($25) for all volunteers.
4. At our MSUM meeting, we recruited another PR person for Concordia her name is Jodi Miller.  She will be helping Matt Skrocki.

-If you are interested in the internship at Community First please let Taska @ tmoconnell9245@aol.com know so she can forward your name to Yvonne.
-We are thinking about doing a picnic/barbeque with the College of Business next Tuesday so keep that in mind.  We will send out an email as soon as we get more information.
