The Family Therapy Center is located in the historic Alba Bales House on the NDSU campus. The clinic was converted from an old home and thus offers a comfortable atmosphere for clients and students alike. The clinic has three therapy rooms with two rooms equipped for live observation and videotaping. The house also includes a classroom, waiting room, clinic coordinator office (sunroom), and fully functioning kitchen for students' use.
Historically the Alba Bales building was established in 1923 as a "practice" house for Home Economics majors to provide these women with practical experience.
