The Gold Star Band's 100th anniversary is soon approaching. In conjunction with this, one of the projects which has been started is to compile stories and anecdotes from Gold Star Band alumni. This compilation will be published for the centenial celebration and will be continuously updated on this web site. If you would like to be a part of this project, you can submit a story here.
The band is preparing for its 100th anniversary in 2004 including recognition of thousands of Gold Star Band Alumni around the world. Click here for updated information about this historic event.
Play in the band!!
The current band, along with many alumni members will be playing the NDSU alma mater, "The Yellow and the Green," during the pregame show for the homecoming game.
We strongly encourage any and all former members to play with us. This is our anniversary and our day, please show your Bison pride and your Gold Star Band Pride by
making this the best turnout yet.
