The band is preparing for its 100th anniversary in 2004, including plans to premiere original commissions for the Concert Band at the centennial gala, participation in a national consortium and recognition of thousands of alumni around the world. In cooperation with the NDSU Alumni Association, the Gold Star Band will have an all band reunion on October 10th and 11th. To see a full schedule of events, click here. Play in the band!! The current band, along with many alumni members will be playing the NDSU alma mater, "The Yellow and the Green," during the pregame show for the homecoming game. We strongly encourage any and all former members to play with us. This is our anniversary and our day, please show your Bison pride and your Gold Star Band Pride by making this the best turnout yet.

Gold Star Band Centennial Newsletter For more information about the events and opportunities of the upcoming centennial celebration read the Centennial Newsletter. This newsletter contains information about the GSB Reunion, commissioning project, history, even a GSB CD.

Gold Star Band Centennial Celebration Commemorative CD and Polo Shirt A commemorative compact disc is currently being produced all will be available in spring 2004. Music performances ranging from Doc Putnam to Warren Olfert will comprise the disc. Don't miss this opportunity to own NDSU Gold Star Band history.
