ASPIRING TEACHERS OF MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE (ATOMS)


Description: Aspiring Teachers of Mathematics and Science (ATOMS) is a student organization for those interested in exploring math and science education. The group is involved with a variety of activities with local district that includes providing enrichment opportunities to students at area schools. In addition, ATOMS works with projects such as Math Counts, Science Fairs, and Science Olympiad events that are held on campus and around the region. Involvement with ATOMS is an outreach opportunity to meet and work with area teachers learning about the profession and establishing relationships to foster a career in education.
