PHI UPSILON OMICRON

Description: Phi Upsilon Omicron is a National Honor Society which provides leadership for the profession by working together to recognize and promote academic excellence; develop qualities of professional and personal leadership; provide opportunities for service to the profession; and, encourage professional and personal integrity. The membership qualifications are based upon scholarship, leadership, service and character.

Benefits: Opportunities for lifelong professional and personal development are available through programs, projects and publications which help members continue to learn and grow. Scholarships are available.

Activities: Each year Phi Upsilon Omicron carries out a professional project and a community service project. The organization sponsors the Outstanding Educator Award which is recognized at the Annual Founder's Day Banquet.
