STUDENT NORTH DAKOTA EDUCATION ASSOCIATION (SNDEA)


Description: The SNDEA of NDSU is an extension of the North Dakota Education Association and National Education Association. The organization offers students in education an opportunity to express their needs, concerns, and experiences through outreach into the Fargo Education Association, along with involvement at the local, state and national levels.

Benefits: Chance to earn one of seven scholarships annually. $1,000,000 worth of liability insurance, professional training, the services of NDEA/NEA attorneys if needed during student teaching experience. Professional magazines, involvement in the buddy system.

Activities: Involvement on the SNDEA Board of Directors, attending a Teachers Convention annually, meetings and speakers to enhance the education curriculum at NDSU.
