Mr. Charles (Chuck) Choate is currently a Research Specialist in the Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering Department
at NDSU. Chuck has a B.S. in Industrial Arts from Moorhead State University, 1971. He has over 33 years of experience,
including 24 years at NDSU, in the machining trade. Chuck has Taught and/or supervised courses such as IME 335 (Welding Technology)
since 1993 and the IME 330 lab (Manufacturing processes) since 1983. He has worked as a machinist and toolmaker in industry and 
at NDSU has worked on countless projects involving research, repair and maintenance for most departments on campus. Chuck is
currently involved with projects from CNSE, Animal Science and the Chemistry Department.
