    What’s New

Partnership with AIT in India (3 + 1 program); twenty-five students to arrive in Fall 2006

Transition team will be in place this summer

·         Enrollments

CEA is down in enrollments according to statistics generated by PeopleSoft (although new software system

does not accurately count number of students)

·         CEA Strategic Plan

Increase endowment funding 50% over 2005 levels

Double amount of spendable income out of endowments

Bump research dollars up to $5M per year; now we are at approximately $2.5M

College revenue sources: Distance Education could generate $150,000 per year

Growth: CEA currently has 2,300 students enrolled; target is 3,000; increase in students will require

new faculty positions.  Current professors 82 FTE, needs to be 125 FTE

CEA wants to offer three certificate programs and one master’s program in continuing education.
