Rocky Mountain Juniper

 
 

Rocky Mountain Juniper is a very drought resistant tree that is native to Southwest North Dakota.

It will grow almost anywhere but is probably best suited to the Western Dakota and Eastern Montana. It has silver-green foliage and blue berry-like cones.

  Rocky Mountain Juniper Rocky Mountain Juniper has been widely planted for windbreaks and wildlife use. The mature height of Rocky Mountain Juniper is about fifteen feet and is planted six to twelve feet apart in a windbreak. Rocky Mountain Juniper is available as bare root or container stock, sold in lots of fifty (50).
