Northern Crops Institute Building Details

Description:

The purpose of the Institute is to "facilitate the international and domestic marketing of Upper Great Plains agricultural crops" and to teach "world food industry how to purchase, process and use the crops of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Montana." Classes are offered to a variety of people from the food industry such as pasta makers, bakers and commodity traders. Representatives of developing countries from all over the world also receive classes in order to establish better service with their buyers (NCI Dedication Program, October 22, 1983, p. 2).
