North Dakota State University's technology-related facilities are on a rapid upward track. From working with "aliens" to developing spintronics, the Fargo, North Dakota campus is swiftly moving into a leadership role in cutting-edge research. Among the latest developments, this summer NDSU received $15 million in contracts and grants from the Department of Defense for work in microsensors, electronics miniaturization, nanoscience, and polymer protective coatings.
