Originally called the cafeteria, the Residence Dining Center opened in the fall of 1964.The fully air-conditioned building will have dining room facilities capable of feeding 500 at any one time. The kitchen will be able to serve, during the course of a meal, 2500 persons.® (The Spectrum , October 9, 1963, p. 3)
