        What is Qur'an?  The Qur'an is the holy book of Islam. Muslims believe
        that the Qur'an is the literal word of God in Arabic and the culmination
        of God's revelation to mankind, revealed to Muhammad (pbum), the final
        prophet of humanity, over a period of 23 years through the angel Gabriel.
        The Qur'an consists of 114 Chapters with thousands of verses.

Chapter 2.Verse 136
Say (O Muslims): We believe in God and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and that which Moses and Jesus received, and that which the prophets received from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and unto Him we have surrendered.

Chapter 2.Verse 271
If you give alms openly, it is well, and if you hide it and give it to the poor, it is better for you; and this will do away with some of your evil deeds; and God is aware of what you do.

Chapter 2.Verse 152
Therefore remember Me, I will remember you, and be thankful to Me, and do not be ungrateful to Me.

Chapter 2.Verse 153
O you who believe! seek assistance through patience and prayer; surely God is with the patient.

Chapter 23.Verse 115
What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us?

Chapter 75.Verse 36
 Does man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose)?

Chapter 39.Verse 49
Now, when trouble touches man, he cries to Us: But when We bestow a favour upon him as from Ourselves, he says, "This has been given to me because of a certain knowledge (I have)!" Nay, but this is but a trial, but most of them understand not!

Chapter 50.Verse 16
It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein.

Chapter 24.Verses 37-38
Men whom neither merchandise nor selling diverts from the remembrance of God and the keeping up of prayer and the giving of poor-rate; they fear a day in which the hearts and eyes shall turn about;
That God may give them the best reward of what they have done, and give them more out of His grace; and God gives sustenance to whom He pleases without measure.

Chapter 23.Verses 1-.6
Successful indeed are the believers,
Who are humble in their prayers,
 Who avoid vain talk;
 Who are active in deeds of charity;
 Who abstain from sex,
Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (in their case) they are free from blame,

Chapter 17.Verse 78
Keep up prayer from the declining of the sun till the darkness of the night and the morning recitation; surely the morning recitation is witnessed.

Chapter 31.Verse 33
O mankind! do your duty to your Lord, and fear (the coming of) a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the promise of God is true: let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the chief Deceiver deceive you about God.

Chapter 29.Verse 45
Recite that which has been revealed to you of the Book and keep up prayer; surely prayer keeps (one) away from indecency and evil, and certainly the remembrance of God is the greatest, and God knows what you do.

Chapter 4.Verse 17
God accept the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them will God turn in mercy: For God is full of knowledge and wisdom.

Chapter 3.Verse 134
Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for God loves those who do good;-

Chapter 17.Verse 23
Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour.

Chapter 57 Verse 4
He it is who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, and He is firm in power; He knows that which goes deep down into the earth and that which comes forth out of it, and that which comes down from the heaven and that which goes up into it, and He is with you wherever you are; and God sees what you do.

Chapter 102.Verse 8
 Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!).
