07/14-15/09 Dr. Akyüz is a speaker at the Biomass 2009 Technical Workshop in the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, ND. His seminar is entitled "Climate Change Basics and Its Local Implication in the Northern Plains."
06/01/09 Dr. Akyüz is a speaker at the opening ceremony of Summer Camp for Tribal College Students, Faculty and High School Teachers June 1-12, 2009. The opening ceremony will be held at the Alumni Center Atrium, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. Dr. Akyüz will be speaking a 3:00 PM on the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network.
