Distribution: Australia (Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia).

Type Material: Eumecopus acanthopygius StDl, 1876: LT % (Gross, 1972), Rockhampton [Australia], NHRS. Eumecopus adversidens Bergroth, 1916: ST(S), &, West Australia (Gross, 1972, was unable to locate any type material in either MVMA or UZMH).
