David Batcheller, president and chief operating officer of Appareo Systems LLC, will share his knowledge and provide insight to entrepreneurs on how to build a team to lead start-up companies. He is scheduled to present “Finding Talent for your Team,” Tuesday, Nov. 19, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Memorial Union Arikara room. The presentation is free and open to the public.
Batcheller will discuss how his company, founded in 2003, has experienced rapid success, growing from one full-time employee to more than 115 employees with offices in Fargo, Phoenix and Paris. Learn how to find a team of people who have the right skill sets and the passion to get the job done.
The presentation is part of the lead-up to Innovation Week 2014, which is scheduled for March 3-7, 2014. It includes the third annual Innovation Challenge, a competition focused on the innovative work being done by NDSU students.
