The NDSU Distance and Continuing Education’s Executive Education program has scheduled a half-day workshop, titled “Deming’s 14 Points to Transform Your Business,” intended for business owners on Jan. 15, 2014.

Local entrepreneur Marty Riske, founder and owner of M.J. Capelli Family Hair Salons, will lead the session on the 14-point philosophy that has become a standard reference for quality transformation in manufacturing and service environments.

Riske has been involved in 16 different ventures over the years, and is currently leading four ventures with more than 100 employees. His company, M.J. Capelli Family Hair Salons, has won the “Best of Salons” award from the Fargo Forum poll for 5 years in a row and held another record year in sales and profits in 2012.
