Yong Bai, chair and professor of construction management and engineering, was the chair of the Technical Committee of the 10th Asia Pacific Transportation Development Conference, held in Beijing, China, May 25-27. More than 200 scholars attended the three-day conference.
A total of 84 presentations were given during the meeting. In addition, 85 peer-reviewed conference proceedings were published by the American Society of Civil Engineers, known as ASCE. Bai was the lead editor of the ASCE proceedings.
The conference was organized by Beijing University of Technology and co-sponsored by the National Nature Science Foundation of China, the Beijing Nature Science Foundation and the ASCE Transportation and Development Institute.
