NDSU’s FORWARD project will sponsor a training session for faculty search committee members scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Memorial Union Hidatsa room. Registration for the session should be completed at the FORWARD website at www.ndsu.edu/forward/.
Current search committee members are particularly encouraged to attend the sessions. The training will include information on procedural aspects of the search process, as well as research-based information addressing the ways that bias can influence the recruitment and screening of applicants in a search and strategies for overcoming bias.
