FORWARD to offer faculty development workshops

The FORWARD project is scheduled to sponsor five training sessions for faculty development. Please feel free to partake in these learning opportunities to gather information and ask questions to knowledgeable faculty at NDSU.

January’s “Promotion to Tenure Workshop” will be hosted by Canan Bilen Green, vice provost for advancement of faculty and Dale Hogoboom professor of industrial and manufacturing engineering.

“Supervising Graduate Students” will be hosted by Kendra Greenlee, associate professor of biological sciences, in February.

“Faculty Involvement and Academic Citizenship” will be hosted by Sean Sather-Wagstaff, Faculty Senate president-elect and associate professor of mathematics, in March.

April’s “Securing External Funding for Educational Initiatives” will be hosted by guest speaker Beverly Watford, program manager for Broadening Participation, National Science Foundation and former associate dean for academic affairs in the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech.

“Getting Ready for Summer Research” will be hosted by a faculty panel in May.
