Presentation proposals sought for advising conference

The regional conference of the National Academic Advising Association is requesting presentation and poster proposals from faculty and staff who advise students. The deadline for submissions is Jan. 16. 

The conference, “Advising for the Winds of Change in Higher Education,” provides an opportunity to present on key advising issues related to students' progression throughout their academic career. Visit www.nacada.ksu.edu/Events-Programs/Events/Region-Conferences/Region-6.aspx to submit proposals and view preliminary details about the conference.

The conference is scheduled for May 6-8, 2015, at the Fargo Holiday Inn Hotel and Convention Center.

If you are interested in volunteering at the conference or have questions, contact Joan Krush, conference chair, at joan.krush@ndsu.edu. Krush is an academic adviser and lecturer in the NDSU Department of Computer Science.
