Dan Pemstein, assistant professor of political science, recently was notified his paper, "Brussels Bound: Policy Experience and Candidate Selection in European Elections," was accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed journal Comparative Political Studies.
The paper was co-written with Steve Meserve from Texas Tech University and Bill Bernhard from the University of Illinois.
Pemstein earned his bachelor's degree at Washington University, and his master's degree and doctorate from the University of Illinois.
