Chief information security officer awarded Global Summit scholarship

Theresa Semmens, chief information security officer, was awarded a 2015 Internet2 Global Summit scholarship. 

The scholarship provided funding for registration, travel and lodging for the five-day Global Summit April 26-30 in Washington, D.C. The summit’s theme was “Community: Leading the way.” It focused on the advancement of research capabilities through collaborative innovations in technology infrastructure and applications.

The Global Summit serves as the annual meeting of Internet2. NDSU is a founding member of Internet2, a member-owned consortium of leaders in higher education focusing on research, academia, industry and government collaborating to develop and deploy innovative advanced networking technologies.
