SHARE

Karen Froelich, associate professor in the Department of Management and Marketing and director of the master of business administration program in the College of Business, was awarded a FORWARD Leadership Development Grant. Froelich will use the leadership development award to support her participation in a series of conferences sponsored by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the premier accrediting agency for business schools worldwide.

The conferences, designed for academic leaders in business education, will take place during 2011-12 and will address a range of significant trends and developments in business education. In addition, attendance at this series of conferences will develop valuable interpersonal networks among business education colleagues and leaders that will benefit the NDSU College of Business.

The Leadership Development component of the FORWARD project promotes the advancement of talented, tenured women faculty by providing financial support to attend leadership training. The program is open to tenured women faculty at the rank of associate professor or professor.
