Music professor featured in performances

Virginia Sublett, professor of music, appeared as soprano soloist in Brahms’ “Requiem” with the Grand Forks Master Chorale. She also has been invited to appear as soprano soloist in Stephen Paulus’ oratorio, “To Be Certain of the Dawn,” with the North Central American Choral Director’s Association Chorale at its conference in February 2012 in Madison, Wis.

Sublett also will be the soprano soloist in the NDSU Baroque Festival’s presentation of Handel’s “Messiah” and Kuhnau’s “Magnificat” scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. in Festival Concert Hall. Tickets are available at www.ndsu.edu/finearts
