Agnes Harrington Agnes Harrington has been a member of the Northern Plains Ethics Institute since the inception of the organization. She has been involved in issues related to Ethical inquiry for more than 25 years. As a faculty member at NDSU, Agnes has instructed students in Ethics in the Associate Degree and Baccalaureate Degree programs in Nursing. She also taught Ethics with Bachelor students in Pharmacy and currently continues as an instructor with the Pharm.D. students. In addition, she served as the Ethics instructor for the Associate Degree program which was jointly sponsored by Merit Care in Fargo and the NDSCS in Wahpeton. Agnes currently is chair of the Ethics committee for Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Fargo. She has held this position for eight years. A long time faculty member at NDSU, Agnes joined the staff of the NDSU Counseling Center in 1969. Since that time she has served as a faculty member in Counselor/Education program, Chair of the Department of Nursing and was Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy for 22 year. In July of 2004, she stepped down from the administrative position and now is a half time member of the faculty of Pharmacy Practice, at NDSU. Her Primary interest in Ethic is related to various aspects of involvement with Health Care topics. |
