Student Resources

NDSU offers a wealth of resources to assist you in realizing your personal, academic and career success.  We encourage you to take advantage of these resources while attending college.  Below is a list of some of the campus services in areas such as academics, emotional and physical health, leadership, finances, and more.  If you have a need that is not addressed by this list, please contact your advisor or the NRM Program Leader, Dr. Shawn DeKeyser.

Academic Collegiate Enhancement (ACE)

ACE is a free academic support program available to all enrolled undergraduate students needing help with homework, tips on studying for an exam, or strategies for taking notes.  Tutoring is available in Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering courses, Math, Microbiology, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, and many others.

ACE is located in the West Dining Center 20 (lower level).  This is a drop in tutoring service, so there is no need to make an appointment.  Visit the ACE web site to learn more or call 701-231-5554.

  • Assistance with outlining, research, grammer, style and formatting;

Student Support Services (TRIO Programs)

Student Support Services provides eligible students with a wide range of services, such as tutoring, academic success workshops, and instruction in math and sciences, and reading and writing.  For more information, call 701-231-8028 or visit their web site at http://www.ndsu.edu/trio/student_support_services/.

The Counseling Center can assist you with study skills, academic matters, personal issues, career planning, and many other issues you may have.  Call 701-231-7671 to schedule an appointment.

Disability Services
Wallman Wellness Center Room 170

Disability Services will determine eligibility for accomodations and services for individuals with disabilities.  The service will probide individual consultation regarding the possible presence of a disability.  To make an appointment call 701-231-8463.
