BSN Track Overview
The Baccalaureate nursing program is a four year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Graduates are eligible to apply for the national licensing examination (NCLEX) to become a registered nurse (RN).
The largest program in the Nursing Department. This program consists of one year prerequisite courses and three years of professional nursing courses. As a student in the professional courses, you are exposed to a variety of clinical settings such as acute and long term care, pediatrics, public health, emergency room, critical care, labor and delivery as well as mental health.
