Patnode Selected for Selmer Paris Artist Roster
Dr. Matthew Patnode, Associate Professor of Saxophone with the NDSU School of Music, has been invited to join the Selmer Paris Artist Roster. Long considered to be the "gold standard' of high quality instruments to which other saxophones are compared to, Selmer's artist roster consists of professional saxophonists and pedagogues from throughout the world.
Additionally, Patnode will perform with Trio Carrefour at the National Conference on Percussion Pedagogy, May 19 at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. The ensemble consists of saxophone, percussion and piano. The National Conference on Percussion Pedagogy is designed to provide a forum for music educators and professional musicians to explore the status of percussion pedagogy in the United States.
