The North Dakota State University Challey School of Music is changing its name to honor two longtime supporters of the program and the university. The Robert and Sheila Challey Challey School of Music will be unveiled prior to a free concert by members of the popular quintet Boston Brass on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m. at Festival Concert Hall.

Jocelyn Hagen, composer and lecturer at the NDSU Challey School of Music, will present a guest recital featuring pieces from her album MASHUP and upcoming dance opera titled Test Pilot. The recital is scheduled for Thursday, August 28 at 7:30 PM in Beckwith Recital Hall; free and open to the public.

Jess Jung, Assistant Professor of Directing with NDSU Theatre Arts, directed a series of radio plays titled Walking the City of Silence and Stone by Steven Spotswood. The episodes will air on Metro Connection, a Washington, D.C.-based radio production of National Public Radio.
