Welcome to the Thrifty White Concept Pharmacy

Incorporated as a curriculum requirement for all graduates of the professional program, the Thrifty White Concept Pharmacy is designed to create a unique and innovative educational environment. Through integrated lab instruction and role-playing, students experience and understand the various role of individuals in the health care system. The Thrifty White Concept Pharmacy integrates all the features of contemporary community pharmacy practice and includes the latest in drug distribution systems and pharmacy technology/automation, utilization of pharmacy technicians, extemporaneous compounding, nursing home practice, intravenous admixture preparation including chemotherapy, disease state management, drug information and patient education, and OTC and herbal remedies.
